Are you ready to get some DIRTY BBQ RIBS!? Let's get to it

Ingredients:

  1. Baby back pork ribs, 2 to 2 ½  pounds
  2. Salt to taste
  3. Diebold’s Dirty Dust, about 2 tbsp
  4. Olive oil, 2 tbsp

Sweet and Spicy Sauce:

  1. 1 tablespoon olive oil
  2. ¼ cup finely diced onion
  3. 1 tbsp chopped garlic
  4. ½ cup ketchup
  5. ½ cup BBQ sauce
  6. 1 tablespoon hot Sriracha sauce
  7. 2 tablespoons honey
  8. A few chili flakes & Pinch of Dielbold's Dirty Dust

Let's Get Cookin'

  1. Start by preheating the oven to about 275° Fahrenheit (135C).
  2. Make sure to remove the thin membrane covering the back of the ribs and then pat them dry.
  3. Season both sides of the ribs with a generous amount of salt and Diebold’s Dirty Dust.
  4. Brush the ribs with olive oil and place them meat-side up, into a large pan and cover it tightly with aluminum foil. (we recommend overnight seasoning for better flavor)
  5. Now sit back, enjoy your favorite movie, and forget them for about 2 ½ to 3 hours.
  6. Check the ribs after 2 hours to see the progress.
  7. You know the ribs are done once the meat is cooked falling-off-the-bone tender.

Sweet and Spicy Barbecue Sauce

  1. Heat a little olive oil and add the onions and cook until translucent, 5 to 8 minutes.
  2. Add the garlic and sauté for a minute ( until you think it would offend a vampire with it's odor). Now add your BBQ sauce, ketchup, and Sriracha sauce, and stir.
  3. In the end, add honey and chili flakes and your sauce is ready.

The Finish Line is Here

Finally, remove the ribs from the oven and lather the prepared sweet and spicy BBQ sauce on both sides.

Place the ribs back in the oven to glaze them, turn the broiler to high and broil the ribs for 3-4 minutes to caramelize the barbecue sauce.

MMM ... That's DIRTY!! Enjoy the most tender BBQ ribs you'll ever eat!
